At the request of Doctor Christophe BILLY, Infectologist and Head of the internal medicine department for infectious diseases at CH François Quesnay de Mantes la Jolie, we studied the possibility of adapting EasyBreath masks to respirators
We were inspired by the work carried out in Italy.
The first batch of components produced by 3D printing do not fully satisfy the specification, and a machined solution was applied.
The effective collaboration with the Clinique Saint-Jean de Dieu, the Turin Clinic and the Franco-British Hospital made it possible to produce modular and waterproof kits according to the different CPAP and VNI techniques practiced in intensive care during this COVID-19 period.
This kit allows you to consider all possible entry / exit solutions thanks to the EasyBreath mask.
Tests carried out by the doctors and nurses on themselves and on patients, made it possible to validate that the high expiratory solution and side inspiratory set-up was the most suitable.
PRESENTATION OF THE KIT
Advantages of the machined / injected kit:
• Precision allowing the tightness of each connection
• Material: Ertacetal C used in many DM parts
• Sterilizable and autoclavable 250 cycles
• Bio-cleaning protocol
• Rapid mass production
• Move to imminent medical plastic injection
